The Fisher campus is situated on 154 park-like acres and features over 26 modern buildings. Currently, the College uses Corbin Russwin’s CL3361 Cylindrical Locks throughout its academic buildings and over half of its 4,000 doors are fitted with Corbin Russwin ED5000 Series Exit Devices.

“As we build new buildings and retrofit others, it’s important to have consistency across the campus,” said Lance Murphy, Locksmith, St. John Fisher College. “Corbin Russwin solutions were already installed on campus and we’ve continued to work with them to create a level of standardization that is time and cost-effective.”

Prior to joining Fisher as a Locksmith, Murphy had little experience working with Corbin Russwin. Now after three years on campus, Murphy installs Corbin Russwin on every new door opening across campus—citing reliability and durability as the major benefits Corbin Russwin solutions offer. Murphy also uses Corbin Russwin’s interchangeable cores throughout campus to ensure rekeying can be done quickly, easily, and cost-effectively.

"I had worked on many different locks throughout my career as a road locksmith,” said Murphy. “However, Corbin Russwin was a brand I had minimal experience with, and after working with them for the past three years, I understand why they’ve been in business for as long as they have. The products are high quality and easily withstand the high traffic environments we have on campus.”

The Corbin Russwin CL3361 is a mechanical cylindrical lock that is easy to install, features a reversible stainless steel latch and is ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 rated. The Corbin Russwin ED5000 Series Exit Device is ideal for environments that require durable and aesthetically pleasing life safety solutions. Available in rim, mortise, surface vertical and concealed vertical rod configurations, these exit devices exceed ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements for cycle and strength.
