Medeco Enhances High Security Top Pins

In its continuing mission to improve safety and security, Medeco has announced exciting changes to its high security top pins. These changes are made to improve the usability of Medeco high security technologies including Original, Biaxial, Medeco 3, Medeco 4.

PLEASE NOTE THESE IMPORTANT POINTS:

1. There is one item number change - The 3T item number is now: TP-F10-3T (formerly TP-F10-3M)
2. Some of the new top pins look different than they previously did. The new look does not impact functionality and actually improves security.
3. For the foreseeable future, you MIGHT receive orders with a mix of the new and old style top pins. You can use both. They will function the same.

A few more notes about these pins:

• 1T and 5T are hardened steel for drill resistance,
  while 2T is a mushroom pin for enhanced pick resistance
• The new barrel stainless steel on 3T and 4T top pins
  makes picking Medeco high security cylinders
  more difficult than ever before
• New pin kits reflect the 3T item number change,
  but existing kits may have to be corrected
  for the new TP-F10-3T item number
• No changes on 5T and 6T top pins
